The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has announced that from 1st April 2023, CITB grant rates for short courses will double!
If a delegate completes a short course from 1st April 2023, you can claim £60, £140 or £240 per delegate, depending on what tier CITB class the course as.
To apply for this grant, you must be a CITB registered company and be up to date with your Levy Returns.
You must also adhere to the specific requirements for this grant, as well as following CITB’s Grant Scheme policy.
The Levy applies to all employers when construction activities takes up more than half of their total employees time, this include subcontractors.
The purpose of this Levy is to support employers in construction to ensure that the industry has a skilled workforce.

CITB class a short course as training that lasts from 3 hours to 29 days.
The training must also be focused around improving skills across the construction industry.
