Utility Strike Avoidance Group

Utility strikes are one of the biggest health and safety hazards across the Highways industry, with strikes occuring once a day on average across the sector.

The Utility Strike Avoidance Group is a collective group of over 180 organisations including utility companies, contractors, asset owners and industry groups. The group seeks to ensure best practice and high safety standards across the industry in order to protect the vital services to our homes and businesses, but more importantly, those who work on them.
