The NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations is a competency-based qualification for junior construction professionals. It allows individuals to validate their skills and expertise in positions such as estimators, buyers and trainee surveyors.
Also, site technical support, construction site supervisors, assistant project managers, and assistant contract managers will benefit from this level 3 NVQ. This qualification demonstrates their ability to meet industry health, safety, welfare, and project management standards.
The NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations offers seven specialised pathways. These pathways include: Estimating, Buying, Planning, Surveying, Site technical support, Design coordination, and General construction operations.
NOTE: You will need approx. 2 years of experience in the role related to this NVQ, and currently be working in a relevant role.

It typically takes 3-6 months to complete, with support for all learners to finish within six months.
It depends on how quickly you can meet the NVQ requirements. Our assessors can arrange calls, support you in gathering evidence, and conduct professional discussions around your workload. The NVQ format is very flexible.
After finishing the NVQ, you must apply directly to CSCS for your card and provide them with your NVQ certificate details.
You must also complete the appropriate CITB Health, Safety & Environment test before applying for your CSCS card.
CITB-registered companies can claim for every learner who completes this NVQ. They will need to make a manual retrospective claim to claim the grant.
