The CISRS Operative Training Scheme (COTS) training provides you with the knowledge required to work safely on scaffolding equipment. This COTS course is a one-day training that is ideal for anyone new to scaffolding or operatives that carry out labouring duties for scaffolding operations.
You will learn about the basics of various health and safety topics such as your responsibilities, risks and hazards. The knowledge you gain from this CISRS COTS course will help you to protect yourself and others on site.
On completion of this COTS course, you will have a better understanding of basic scaffolding requirements and the terminology related to scaffolding operations.
If you are looking to obtain a CISRS Scaffolding Labourer card, you should attend this COTS training. Through the training, you will gain essential industry knowledge ideal for a new starter or apprentice in the industry.
With this knowledge, you’ll be able to protect yourself and others through better working practices. The qualification will also potentially open up progression opportunities for you in scaffolding. You will aslso receive a labourer card that is valid for 5 years after successful completion.

The labourer card is valid for 5 years, after successful completion of the COTS course.
