The EUSR National Water Hygiene course is designed for anyone working on clean water supply systems.
This training is a half-day course, and you will receive an EUSR registration for three years after successful completion of the course.
Water should be clean, clear and safe, which is why the scheme provides knowledge of awareness to those working on clean water supply systems.
You must hold a National Water Hygiene registration to work on clean water sites (Restricted Operations).
This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the role you play in maintaining clean and safe drinking water.
You will also receive a virtual National Water Hygiene card after successfully completing the training.
This course covers all the required knowledge and awareness of good water hygiene practices.

This course can be delivered in the following ways:
Our remote learning EUSR National Water Hygiene courses are delivered online through a virtual classroom via Zoom.
To access the course, delegates must join the course using the link provided. However, they will need a computer or laptop with a screen, camera, microphone and access to the internet to attend this course online. Delegates should be computer literate and be familiar with using Zoom.
Delegates can interact with the attendees and trainer throughout via the microphone or chatbox. The course materials are all in digital format, as is the exam.
The EUSR National Water Hygiene course can be arranged in-house at a 3B Training venue or a venue of your choosing. The course is also available as an in-house Remote learning course.

What is required to pass this Training?
To pass the training, you will need to complete a multiple-choice assessment.
The training will last around 3 hours, including the assessment.
To attend this course, we advise that you have a good knowledge of written and spoken English. You also need to be computer literate and familiar with using Zoom.
A health screening questionnaire must also be completed prior to the training and assessment.
The registration is valid for three years.
Yes, the scheme is accredited by EUSR and recognised by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI).
The EUSR National Water Hygiene scheme is recognised by CITB for short course duration funding.
